Legacy Projects > Whitewater River Corridor – Bicentennial Nature Trust Whitewater River Corridor – Bicentennial Nature Trust

Acquisition of several tracts of land in the Whitewater Valley in Wayne and Union Counties. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Cope Environmental Center, Whitewater Valley Land Trust and Earlham College are partnering to protect an important corridor along the Whitewater River from US 40 to the Brookville Reservoir.  DNR will lead this effort and all land purchased will have restrictions that provide for public use and enjoyment.
