Legacy Projects > Falls Park – Bicentennial Nature Trust Falls Park – Bicentennial Nature Trust

Purchase of 2 properties totaling 23 acres to expand Falls Park in the Town of Pendleton.    Both properties are owned by the South Madison Community Foundation, and will be sold at ½ of appraised value.  Property #1 is situated at the north end of the park and features 20 acres of wooded wetlands along the east bank of Prairie Creek.  Property #2 is 3 acres in size and located at the confluence of Prairie Creek and Fall Creek, just upstream from the Fall Creek waterfall that gives the Park its name.  This acquisition is located in Madison County.
