Acquisition of 80 acres adjacent to a 64-acre property acquired with BNT funds in April, 2013.  The addition features eight acres of riparian corridor directly upstream from the high-quality ravine on the existing nature preserve, as well as 15 acres of mature mesic and wet deciduous forest.  The property provides important wildlife habitat, particularly for birds.  This acquisition is located in Porter County.
