The photo album project is a photographic collection capturing descriptions of Orange County history including each of the communities, way of life, industries and home life within the county. The album will also include photos of documents pertinent to our history and relevance to the State of Indiana. The project celebrates the bicentennial of Paoli, Orleans, and all of Orange County with photographs from 1836 to 1966. The county and Town of Paoli were organized in 1816 along with the state of Indiana. Orange County was the last county to be organized before Indiana became a state.
