Amber Alert
Amber Alert - TEST

Legacy Projects > National Maple Syrup Festival National Maple Syrup Festival

The National Maple Syrup Festival will bring together sugar producers, hobbyists, connoisseurs, and visitors from near and far to promote Indiana’s role in the national production of maple sugar and syrup. Not only does the National Maple Syrup celebrate Indiana’s rich history in maple syrup production, it will also serve as a lasting legacy for the state in which future generations can take pride.

The Festival will engage Indiana’s very own maple sugar producers, Brown County restaurants and retailers, storytellers, re-enactors, the Brown County State Park, and a host of venues to highlight Indiana’s history in maple sugar production. Festival guests will learn the basics of maple syrup, the sugaring process, and will have plenty of opportunities to sample delicious maple treats and dishes.

This legacy will not only highlight Indiana’s past history in maple sugar production, but will also serve as an inspiration to up and coming maple syrup producers and future generations.
