Legacy Projects > Indiana State Park History Tour Phone App Indiana State Park History Tour Phone App

A walking or driving tour of the history of the Indiana State Parks. Each tour has a map of several stops that allows the visitor to learn about the human history in the park. The maps allow the user to navigate between stops using the trails and roads, or to preview attractions in a park before a visit. At each stop the listener hears a history of the site and sees historic photos. The parks available include: Indiana Dunes, Lincoln, McCormick’s Creek, Mounds, Pokagon, and Turkey Run. Some historic structures may still exist, but other structures are lost to time.
