The Pike County Barn Quilt Trail project will establish a driving “trail” for viewing the various quilt block signage placed on barns or other outbuildings. Quilt blocks are named and have historical significance. Quilts are a part of our heritage and even are known to have “messages” interwoven into their meaning. Quilting was born out of necessity and through the years has evolved into a craft of beauty in themed design.
