Legacy Projects > You’ve Come a Long, Long Way! You’ve Come a Long, Long Way!

You’ve come a Long, Long Way will be a 5 part series celebrating the home life of Indiana. 1. April 14, 2016 will be a gardening program with Heritage Plants highlighting “How it was & can be now” and “Planting toward the Future”. 2. May 11, 2016 at the Achievement Celebration will be “Fashion through the Centuries”. 3. August 27, 2016 will be the main event with a Day of Remembrance encompassing a Tea Luncheon: Pictures from the Past, Scrapbooks through the Years. “Did you wear your gloves”? And Tantalizing Tall Tales of Previous Years, “Trends for the Home of the Future”. 4. October 6-9, 2016 is Riley Festival Home Arts and Quilt Show, Displays of past history. 5. December 8, 2016 shows “An Old-Fashioned Christmas, Celebrating Simple Then and Now”.
