Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Amber Alert
Amber Alert - TEST

Legacy Projects > Linton Freedom Festival and Independence Day Parade Linton Freedom Festival and Independence Day Parade

The Linton Freedom Festival Parade celebrates American independence and Hoosier Hospitality.  This parade not only brings a small community together, but also brings home many people who grew up in this community.  As these former Hoosiers return home, they bring with them their family and friends who have the opportunity to experience Hoosier Hospitality at its finest.  The City of Linton opens its arms and welcomes all to join in on this wonderful celebration.

In 2016, the parade theme will be “Hoosier Heroes”.  We will encourage all who are involved with this parade to center their creative minds toward that theme.  The Taskforce will showcase the importance of Indiana heroes who in the past 200 years have had influence on the development of the State of Indiana.  The task force will also focus on the “heroes” we have today who are continuing to build on the foundation that our forefathers began.
