Legacy Projects > A.Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale – Theatrical Production A.Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale – Theatrical Production

A signature production, A. Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale, is a musical play depicting the historical events of Abraham Lincoln’s Indiana youth. This production is geared toward all ages and is especially accessible to those unable to travel long distances to venues in Louisville or Indianapolis for quality live entertainment. The current production premiered in 2012. The Lincoln family moved to what is now Spencer County in southern Indiana December 1816. In addition to the celebration of Indiana’s bicentennial, December 2016 will mark 200 years since the arrival of the Lincolns in Indiana. Lincoln Amphitheatre is nestled within Lincoln State Park which will be part of the centennial celebration of Indiana State Parks also in 2016.
