Legacy Projects > Race2Play Race2Play

Race2Play is a community effort to make spaces where kids and families play – great spaces by creating more inviting, all-inclusive playgrounds for children of all socioeconomic backgrounds. The real “celebrities” are community partners who believe that safe spaces lead to healthier kids.

In 2013, the Columbus Park Foundation, Columbus Parks and Recreation, City of Columbus, national foundations including: Tony Stewart, Carter’s (Osterhouse) Kids, Riley Children’s Foundation, and many community partners teamed up to make the project Race2Play a reality.
