Legacy Projects > Rural Heritage Tour Rural Heritage Tour

The Rural Heritage Tour will take place in Vevay, Indiana on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 at the Thiebaud Farmstead settled in 1817 and Musee de Venoge settled in 1805. Both are Nationally Registered Historic Properties and show a high level of stewardship towards preserving Indiana’s rural heritage. The contrasting architectural styles and furnishings provide the physical setting and interpreters in period clothing bring the settings to life with activities and hands on experiences. A commercial gardening business, Stonehouse Creations, will also be on the tour, extending the county’s agricultural history from the past to the present.
