Community Arbor Day in Morgan County will host several community tree seedling giveaways and planting celebrations throughout the county beginning in March 2016 through May 2016. Seedlings will include the Tulip Poplar, State tree of Indiana. The 4th Grade Arbor Day Celebration will have engaging and inspiring activities for youth and young adults including a free Tulip seedling, The Giving Tree reenacted by local high school students, Smokey the Bear appearance and the history or Arbor Day and its importance of celebrating trees.
