Legacy Projects > Tree of Hope Project Tree of Hope Project

Sustainable Indiana 2016, a Bicentennial legacy project of Earth Charter Indiana, invites all Hoosiers to take part in the Tree of Hope project. Instead of a monument of concrete or steel as a marker of our commitment to future sustainability, a Bicentennial Tree of Hope will be our living witness to future generations and green legacy to future generations of forest lovers.

Any organization, school, business or individual can plant a Tree of Hope and dedicate it in a creative way. Share your Tree of Hope event or story with Sustainable Indiana 2016 on social media using #TreeofHope, @si2016 or searching for Tree of Hope on Facebook and Instagram. Awards will be given for the best photographs and stories in each of the following categories: Government, organization and individual.
