Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Amber Alert
Amber Alert - TEST

Legacy Projects > Birthday Book Birthday Book

Brick Street Poetry Inc. will work with co-sponsoring organizations, such as libraries, in each county to conduct calls for poetry that speaks to the character of Indiana’s 92 counties.  Each of the 92 cosponsoring organizations will forward to Brick Street 3 to 5 finalists from their county.  A poem representing each county will be selected by Brick Street to be included in a book that will be published for the bicentennial and distributed to libraries.

Indiana’s Bicentennial celebration’s goal is to “Celebrate history and Ignite the future”.   Brick Street Poetry’s project will do both.  Publication of a book records history and carries it into the future.
