Legacy Projects > White Ditch Purchase – Bicentennial Nature Trust White Ditch Purchase – Bicentennial Nature Trust

Purchase of 12 non-buildable, vacant wooded lots equivalent to 2 acres along the south side of White Ditch in the Town of Michiana Shores.  The acquisition will allow for the extension of an existing nature trail along White Ditch as well as bank stabilization and erosion control efforts.  White Ditch drains directly into Lake Michigan.  This project is located in LaPorte County.
