Legacy Projects > Indiana Latino Heritage Day Indiana Latino Heritage Day

Indiana Latino Heritage Day is in its fourth year. The focus of the program has evolved to go beyond a celebration of Latino culture in Indiana, and to look at the past and future impact of Latino’s. The hope is to connect the past with the future, by giving high school and college aged students a chance to hear from Latino’s in their community who are leaders in business, education and society. The museum will also use the event as a way to cultivate stories from current generations of Latino’s so that their impact on the state can be told to future generations.
