Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Amber Alert
Amber Alert - TEST

Legacy Projects > Vincennes Rotary Club Centennial Tree Project Vincennes Rotary Club Centennial Tree Project

The project will consist of planting 100 trees at the county’s newly acquired Fox Ridge Nature Park. The property was an abandoned golf course that the county bought to be turned into green space. The Vincennes Rotary Club, in celebration of our centennial, has committed to planting 100 trees to make this park more appealing to the public. Most of the trees are Tulip trees, the state tree of Indiana. The trees have already been purchased and will be planted on October 24, 2015. We would like to tie this project in with the State’s Bicentennial celebration. This project will have a lasting impact on the Fox Ridge Nature Park and will benefit all residence of Knox County.
