Young Voices of Indianapolis, a non-profit community choral organization, is celebrating the Bicentennial with a special program of Hoosier poetry and song. “A Hoosier Bicentennial Medley” is a 30-minute performance featuring poetry by Sarah Bolton and James Whitcomb Riley and music by Cole Porter, James Hanley and many others. Featured songs include “Back Home Again in Indiana,” “Keep Your Lamp Trimmed and Burning,” and “Indianapolis, Indeed.” Young Voices is delighted to bring its musical performance to organizations celebrating the Bicentennial in 2016.
