Legacy Projects > Barns of Orange County Barns of Orange County

Barns of Orange County honors the area’s agrarian heritage placing the spotlight on historic barns, be they on the farm or carriage-house style behind a historic home in town. High school student artists across the county are joining the Bicentennial celebration capturing scenes of over 80 barns. Their art is providing a permanent record of these historic structures, which are quickly disappearing from our landscape. A slide show of barn photos and barns designated on a map for self-guided viewing round out the Bicentennial program.
