Legacy Projects > Stockbridge Audubon Society’s Big Year of 200 Species of Birds Stockbridge Audubon Society’s Big Year of 200 Species of Birds

Stockbridge Audubon Society is based in Fort Wayne. Each year Stockbridge board members and volunteers host birding field trips during spring and fall migration in northern Indiana. It is an achievable goal to see 200 bird species in Indiana on these field trips. Certificates will be given to those who complete 200 species on the field trip in 2016. We hope to encourage young people or the young at heart to learn about our native birds of Indiana. The field trips are open to the general public. We hope to encourage Hoosiers to learn about the native birds of Indiana and have an enjoyable time doing it.
