Legacy Projects > Shipshewana Mayfest Shipshewana Mayfest

This event began as a way to welcome warmer weather in Northern Indiana for locals. It has grown into the annual kick-off to the tourist season in Shipshewana. With the many activities and a huge parade, this is a fun, family oriented event that you will want to experience. This small town, free, local festival invites locals and visitors to spend time with our families at a slower pace. Outdoor games, music and great food is enjoyed by all. It serves as a reminder that some of the best family memories can be made by spending quality time together in a fun, safe environment and experience life in a small town.
