Legacy Projects > 8th Annual World Cultural Festival 8th Annual World Cultural Festival

The World Cultural Festival is Saturday, September 17th, 2016 in Valparaiso, IN. It celebrates the diversity of Northwest Indiana by bringing together a variety of cultures to learn about each other and share traditions. The stage comes to life with music and dance from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, performed by new arrivals from foreign lands or the descendants of immigrants. Ethnic cuisine and authentic handicrafts are available in the pavilion, and hands-on activities with an international perspective are provided for children. A highlight is the Parade of Nations, when representatives of many countries and heritages march across the stage dressed in traditional attire.
