Legacy Projects > Come to the Fair: Connecting with the Past Come to the Fair: Connecting with the Past

The Dearborn County Fair wishes to celebrate Indiana’s Bicentennial locally by integrating the heritage of Dearborn County fair activities from the past into the present far. A time line display dating from 1852 through the present will briefly list important facts regarding the Fair’s history. In addition, reproductions of Fair premium books, fliers, and newspaper clippings will be available to peruse.

A scavenger hunt will be organized for fair patrons by posting Dearborn County Fair Facts all around the fairgrounds. Fair patrons will be given questionnaires to complete using the fair fact signs. Complete correct questionnaires will be collected and winners drawn each day. Door prize incentives will be provided for winners.

Projected activities are: dog parade, livestock exhibition, antique tractor display, family arts historical display, etc.
