Legacy Projects > Indiana Festival of Faiths Indiana Festival of Faiths

The Indy Festival of Faiths is the state’s largest celebration of Hoosier religious diversity.  Admission is free. The Festival’s theme in 2016 is “The History of Religions in Indiana.”   The event is scheduled for September 17 – 18, 2016 at Veterans Memorial Plaza in downtown Indianapolis.  Religious groups and congregations will discuss and illustrate their history in Indiana over the past 200 years, and how their Hoosier history is part of their faiths’ broader history. The Festival features a Sacred Arts Stage where musicians and dancers from a wide range of faith and cultural traditions perform. More than 2,500 attended in 2015, and over 3,500 are expected this year.
