Legacy Projects > Lowell Labor Day Parade Lowell Labor Day Parade

The Lowell Labor Day Parade is in its 97th year.  It is the longest continually-running Labor Day parade in the state of Indiana.  There are historically 100 entries or more, representing Indiana’s workers, present and past.   Each year the parade has a theme chosen based on current events.  This year, with the 200th birthday celebration of the state of Indiana, we will feature “Celebrating Indiana History”.  All participants will be asked to feature that theme on their float or entry.
