Arts for Learning will present “Celebrating Community: A Traditional American Music and Dance Event,” part of the 2016 Summer Concert Series at McCormick’s Creek State Park. The Fiddle River String Band will play old-time music as percussive dancer Tamara Loewenthal demonstrates a variety of dance styles at the park’s amphitheater. Following the performance, Loewenthal will call basic dance maneuvers as the audience participates in one of America’s oldest whole-family pastimes.
