First Chance Center’s adults with disabilities will be studying Orange County and Indiana on a weekly basis during day-service programming, focusing on exploring the state and its importance to each individual. Activities will include field trips, documentary clips and other activities relevant to the county’s heritage. The adults will also use iPads to research Orange County and Indiana history and will take photos of local landmarks to create a coloring book. The photos will be converted to coloring pages, and the book will include some brief county and state history and facts.
