Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016
Just Come to Indiana
More than 50 members of the Blue River All Stars 4-H Club have created a youth performing arts act for Indiana’s Bicentennial, entitled “Just Come to Indiana,” which celebrates all things Hoosier. Set to the tune of “Twelve Days of Christmas,” components include famous people, important products, Indiana traditions, universities, historical data and more. Lyrics include a cardinal in a tulip tree, 200 years, three capitals, etc. The act will be performed multiple times in 2016 in celebration of the Bicentennial.

What do you consider the key accomplishment of your Legacy Project?
- The Blue River All Stars 4-H Club celebrated the Bicentennial by performing a skit "Just Come to Indiana" (to the tune of 12 Days of Christmas) providing information about what it means to be a Hoosier.
Describe a highlight or most memorable moment related to your Legacy Project.
- The Blue River All Stars performed "Just Come to Indiana" for thousands of people (including Governor Mike Pence and Lt. Gov. Eric Holcomb.
How/where are you preserving information and artifacts related to your Legacy Project?
- We have recorded and archived the show, script and photos.
