Join us as we welcome to the library Jeff Manes, writer of the syndicated newspaper column “Salt,” and writer/producer of the Emmy-nominated documentary “Everglades of the North: The Story of the Grand Kankakee Marsh.” Since 2005, Jeff has written over 1,000 stories about people from all over the Calumet region. One hundred of these stories have been compiled into books, “All Worth Their Salt: The People of NWI.”
