Legacy Projects > Whitley County World War I Veterans Book Whitley County World War I Veterans Book

The “Whitley County World War I Veterans Book” will delineate Hoosier participation in World War I and give readers an appreciation of the heritage of patriotic service rendered by our forefathers. This project will ask the public to participate by bringing forth their own family history for inclusion in the book. This book will compile public records and data from libraries, newspapers and databases, as well as including personal family stories.
