Legacy Projects > Skinner Farm Village Bicentennial Celebration Skinner Farm Village Bicentennial Celebration

This unique event will celebrate early architectural styles utilized in Indiana. Norman Skinner, owner of the Skinner Farm Village, has been dedicated to the preservation of the built history of Vermillion County for his entire adult life. The Skinner Farm Village, located in Perrysville, Indiana, represents a lifetime of collecting and moving buildings that otherwise would have been torn down. Norman has saved 31 buildings, all of which offer a view of the wide range of historic styles that were built in Vermillion County and the surrounding area throughout its early history. The village also houses a vast collection of historic tractors, wagons, engines, freight scales, buggies and historic cars. The public will be invited to tour the village at no charge.
