Legacy Projects > Tombstone Trail Tombstone Trail

The 2016 Tombstone Trail is a series of self-guided walking tours through Noble County’s historic cemeteries: Oak Park, Rose Hill, Lake View, Wolf Lake, old Northport, and the Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site. As visitors walk among the monuments to locate the gravesites, they learn the history and personal stories of those who shaped Noble County and northeast Indiana. The trail has been a program of the Noble County Convention & Visitors Bureau since 2010. The all-new 2016 guide book, which may be purchased at www.tombstonetrail.com or the tourism bureau office, focuses on people with ties to local and state history.
