The Raclin School of the Arts will partner with Dickinson Intermediate Arts Academy and St. Joseph County Parks to write, produce, and present an original theater work based on the life of Indiana playwright Charles Gordone (1925-1995). Gordone is the first African-American playwright to win the Pulitzer Prize for drama. The script will be researched and written by middle school students; music will be composed by IUSB faculty and graduates; and the production will be presented in St. Patrick’s County Park/Fischgrund Amphitheatre.
