Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Legacy Projects > Preserving History Preserving History

This project will preserve the history of Whitley County citizens for future generations of family and friends. The daily lives of farmers and businesspersons in the community, in their own words, will be filmed and preserved to help everyone understand Whitley County’s past. The video is a celebration of the Whitley County pioneers in the areas of agriculture, electricity, plumbing, and local history. Their daily lives are a testament to their hard work and the spirit that makes this country what it is today.
