All of Wells County will be celebrating on the official Indiana Statehood Day weekend with a big birthday celebration and holiday-themed events. We are coordinating several ongoing holiday celebrations and advertising them all for this weekend together, including the Ossian Hometown Christmas on Thursday, December 8, 2016. The on Friday, December 9 thru Sunday, December 11, we will have a Bicentennial celebration in downtown Bluffton that will include ice sculptures on the Courthouse Plaza, a treat walk throughout downtown, wagon rides, a Bicentennial Gala event, a Bicentennial Bash at the Library where a time capsule will be sealed up, singing and other entertainment, planter decorating contest throughout downtown and finally, a fireworks display shot off from the Courthouse balcony.
