Indiana Bicentennial Celebration 2016

Legacy Projects > WALLA Celebrates Indinaa’s Bicentennial WALLA Celebrates Indinaa’s Bicentennial

The Wabash Area Lifetime Learning Association’s mission is to offer intellectual, cultural and social opportunities for individuals 50 years of older. The planned activities for 2016 gave the participants ample opportunities to review their memories of our state’s accomplishments over the years since its inception. Spring classes had Bicentennial themes of “Four Indiana Governor’s” and “Indiana Potpourri”. A Bicentennial trip was also taken to visit the State Capitol, Indiana Historical Society and the Indiana State Museum to see the Bicentennial exhibits.
