The Shawnee Summer Theatre of Greene County, Inc. is Indiana’s oldest continuously running summer theatre. For the past 13 years, the Theatre has held a Festival of Trees as a fundraiser to help support the theatre as the costs of keeping it running is expensive. Businesses and organizations decorate trees, community members silently bid on the trees and the highest bid wins. This year, to celebrate the Bicentennial, a beautiful Bicentennial-themed tree was the centerpiece of the festival’s display.
