The Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) and the City of Terre Haute Human Relations Commission (THHRC) will conduct a free Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar for attorneys and legal professionals Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Vigo County Public Library on One Liberty Square in Terre Haute. The free training titled "Easy Does it Accommodation” is worth 3.0 CLE credits* for Indiana attorneys.

The three hour program will be split into four (4) – 45 minute segments focusing on the following topics:

  • Removal/mitigation of barriers to the disabled using public accommodations
  • Accommodation of disabled persons requiring companion and service animals
  • Accommodation of the religiously observant
  • Best practices for accommodating students and employees of universities

The CLE in Terre Haute is the ninth in a series of 10 seminars in the ICRC’s 2013 Statewide Continuing Legal Education Program. Each of the program’s seminars are free to attend and will focus on local, state and federal anti-discrimination laws.
