New Grant Opportunities for Members
After careful consideration and reflection, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) is temporarily suspending state-funded grant and loan programs for businesses and local government recycling and pollution prevention projects, including the Recycling Market Development Program (RMDP). This directly impacts the partnership between the Recycled Product Purchasing Grant and members of the 5-Star Environmental Recognition Program for Indiana Child Care Facilities. The suspension of awards under these programs may be in effect for at least one year, possibly longer. This is one of the many difficult actions we must take as a state agency to safeguard Hoosier tax dollars in these difficult economic times.
