Emissions Summary Data

Indiana’s Emission Reporting Rule at Title 326, Article 2, Rule 6 of the Indiana Administrative Code (326 IAC 2-6 [PDF]) requires air emission sources over specific emission thresholds to report their actual emissions of certain pollutants to the department annually or triennially. The information is used for a variety of purposes including planning, trends analysis, modeling, and billing.

The list below provides links to Indiana’s annual emissions information. Each file contains facility names, plant IDs, and reported emissions. Reported pollutants include volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and particulate matter less than or equal to 10 microns in diameter (PM10). The Office of Air Quality (OAQ) makes more detailed data available upon request. If you have any questions regarding emissions reporting, please contact OAQ staff.

Please Note: All emissions are in tons per year.
