The Pollution Prevention and Recycling Section within IDEM’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Technical Assistance (OPPTA) manages various voluntary recognition programs and works with individuals and business entities to expand recycling and environmentally friendly practices. Indianapolis central office staff are specialized according to specific programs, and the regional office staff cover all OPPTA programs within their regions.
