Reflections of Pride Merchandise Store
On October 27, 2008, the first Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) merchandise store, Reflections of Pride, opened at the Correctional Training Institute (CTI) in New Castle, Indiana, and so far, the store is thriving. Staff Development Emergency Operations, in collaboration with PEN Products, partnered to provide this as an additional service for departmental staff, and CTI will use its profits for additional training items and materials.
Currently, the store is open every Friday from 11:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. and for one hour a day during special training events. The store contains many items, including various types of shirts, hooded sweatshirts, hats, lanyards, coffee mugs, towels and other assorted items, for IDOC staff to purchase. All merchandise is ready for pick up and payment during the open hours of operation. Custom order forms are available upon request, and payment must be cash or credit/debit card only.
