The Evidence-Based Practices-Research Institute (EBP-RI) is the scientific arm of EBP: The activities of the EBP-RI include assessing the current implementation of evidence-based practices in Indiana Community Corrections at the state and local levels; designing systematic studies informed by national definitions and standards of evidence-based practices; and determining research priorities and cycles of evaluation that best serve the needs of Indiana Community Corrections.

The Research Institute is available to help provide communities with the following services:

  • Evaluation of existing programs
  • Assistance in developing grant applications
  • Serving as evaluators in grant projects
  • Conducting needs assessments and community studies
