INDOT’s Overall Statewide Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for Federal Fiscal Years 2011-2013 is 12.4%.  On August 2, 2010, INDOT proposed an Overall Statewide DBE goal of 10.17%.  On August 22, 2012, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) approved INDOT’s DBE goal; however, adjusted INDOT’s proposed DBE goal to 12.4%.  FHWA’s explanation for the adjustments made to INDOT’s DBE goal is provided below.
