In preparation for ERM, INPRS is offering employers the opportunity to test their Wage and Contribution, Member Enrollment and Member Maintenance files. This testing will specifically focus on the file structure, not the data included in the file.
If employers would like to test their files, please send an email to email@example.com. INPRS will then send a secure link where files can be uploaded. Feedback will be provided within two weeks of receipt. Please contact INPRS with any further questions.
INPRS recently hosted several payroll vendor conferences devoted to the Wage and Contribution file layout employers received in June. Conferences provided information on the design and usage of the Wage and Contribution file in ERM.
Additionally, INPRS staff answered questions about the file itself and any associated fields.

All employers should have received a packet in the mail with the form(s) necessary to set up employer accounts in the new Employer Reporting and Maintenance (ERM) application. Please be aware that this information has been mailed and your response is required.
To assist employers in completing this information, examples of how various employers should complete these forms are available in the File Templates section of er.inprs.in.gov. A list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) can be found in the FAQs section of the same Web site.

Webinars provide ERM users with interactive, educational sessions on how to complete various functions in ERM. Webinar attendees will have the ability to pose questions to a live moderator.
Available March 2012
Classroom Workshops, to be scheduled at various locations throughout the state, will allow employer users to receive hands-on training. These workshops are ideal for those that prefer direct contact with an INPRS representative. Stay tuned for information on how to register for a classroom workshop.
A practice period called a “soft open” is scheduled for March 2012. Employers will be able to practice uploading their new file layouts, enrolling members, etc. This will not be a live environment, and information entered into the system during this period will not be saved.
