Did your employer contribution rate change January 1?

Please ensure you are using the correct rate on any payrolls submitted in ERM after January 1 or your payrolls will fail validation.

Payroll calendars must be confirmed in ERM

If you haven’t confirmed your 2013 payroll calendar in ERM, please do so now. Payrolls cannot be submitted until this is complete.

Go to the W&C tab, click on the Modify Payroll Calendar link, click on the Change Year button, and select ‘2013’ from the drop-down menu. After you have reviewed, click the Cancel button. If any of the dates need to be corrected, call EPPA at (888) 876-2707. Give them the name of the payroll calendar, the date the payroll is currently scheduled, and the date which should be entered for payroll. For payroll frequencies other than weekly or bi-weekly, you will need to provide all of the pay dates.

Members to be notified of payroll-based ASA contributions

Members will soon be notified that their ASA contributions are being submitted on a payroll, rather than quarterly, basis. Should contributions not show up in a member’s account on a payroll basis, members may contact employers to determine the reason for the missing/late funds.

Quarterly member statements now electronic

Members can view and print electronic versions of their quarterly member statements from PERF Online or TRF Interactive. Members wanting a paper copy of their statements may opt-in by logging in to their PERF Online or TRF Interactive account.

EPPA is for employers only

The Employer Pension Plan Administration (EPPA) team is receiving calls from members. EPPA was designed to be an efficient employer-only service team. Any member needing assistance can call the INPRS call center at (888) 526-1687.

1099s to mail this month

Beginning January 25, 1099s will be mailed to retirees. Electronic copy will post to PERF Online/TRF Interactive February 1. Click here for PERF FAQs and here for TRF FAQs. Members should call (888) 526-1687 with questions; employers, please call (888) 876-2707.
