Governor Daniels’ Daily Fitness Routine

Governor Daniels frequently gets asked about his personal fitness regimen. Here is his most recent daily schedule.

  • Day 1 - Mile swim
  • Day 2 - 5 Mile run, weight training
  • Day 3 - Mile swim
  • Day 4 - 40 minutes elliptical trainer, light weights
  • Day 5 - Day off
  • Day 6 - Mile swim, walked 18 holes of golf (if that counts)
  • Day 7 - Mile swim, walked 18 holes of golf
  • Day 8 - Day off
  • Day 9 - Mile swim
  • Day 10 - 5 mile run, weight training

The Governor says he maintains this schedule as best as he can, but sometimes that pesky day job gets in the way. He hopes everyone takes advantage of this generally good summer weather by staying active!
