Since taking office Governor Daniels has pushed Indiana to think big and to make Indiana more competitive in the 21st century. IN.gov is following that lead.
Users of IN.gov are looking for information or services and want results as quickly as possible. As of late 2006, each one of the State's more than 75 agencies had their own website design, resulting in a confusing user experience. In January 2007, IN.gov began its 18-month makeover, which includes a complete customer-focused redesign and the implementation of a website content management system. The result: the public can access state information and services more easily and faster than ever before and state communicators can update the website in a simple click and edit interface. In 2009 the IN.gov program has successfully launched over 110 sites in the common look and feel.
