Elected in 2002, Todd J. Meyer is the prosecuting attorney for Boone County and was re-elected to his fourth term in November 2014. Prior to becoming prosecutor he served on the Boone County Council and was a lawyer at the law firms of Lowe Gray Steele & Darko and Parr Richey Obremskey Frandsen & Patterson. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville in 1994 and his law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1997.
Prosecutor Meyer is a member of the Boone County (president, 2003) and Indiana State (secretary, 2004, 2012, board member 2010-2011) bar associations. He also served as the 2012 chairman of the ISBA’s Annual Meeting Host Committee. He is a board member of the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council (chairman, 2012), a member of the National District Attorneys Association and a past board member of the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum. He is also the founder and current president of the Boone County Child Advocacy Center.
